Sadly no one's going to read this for the HHH-Jericho match and I'm wondering why I even bothered to do it.
Luckily everyone will read for the Rock-Hogan showdown and with that I say enjoy!

- Since I get Spike and not the Score (the channel that carries RAW in Canada), curiosity got the best of me and I decided to watch Impact tonight, because I figure a spectacular trainwreck is just as good as a great show as far as entertainment value goes. We shall see.
OK, people here seem to care about the supposed “battle” tonight far more than I do, so here’s a thread to talk about it so there’s no further thread-jacking occurring. For the record, I don’t get the Score so I can’t watch RAW tonight anyway, and I wouldn’t watch Impact unless Widro offered to buy me a new laptop in exchange. Widro? Just checking.
Hey Scott,
I write you every year or so, usually asking you to pimp one of my "arm-chair bookings". This time is no different, with this new entry running 18 months, and ending at "WrestleMania 27".

Of course, if you don't want to actually read through all the details, you can just look at the list of PPVs here:

Also, with Bret supposedly all but signed at this point, do you think there's anything they could do with him OTHER than to have him try to "settle the score" with Shawn and/or Vince? Personally, I think it'd be great if he and Shawn were to make-up, via a hand-shake in the middle of the ring and Shawn apologizing for "screwing" him; Vince, of course, would find that absolutely nauseating, setting-up "DX" and a face-turned "Hart Dynasty" feuding with four heels of Vince's choosing. I mean, if everybody truly wants to see "closure" in the whole Bret/Shawn/Vince mess, surely having Bret and Shawn make amends (and then align to take out the Devil himself) and move past everything that happened would provide more closure than Bret getting revenge on Shawn (and thus showing that he's still bitter and unable to let go), right?
Of course, I'm not saying that Bret and Shawn have to be best buddies in real-life, but from a storyline perspective, wouldn't that prove Bret and Shawn as being bigger men than the grudge-holding, "I'm-always-right" Vince? Or do you think they should go with the more obvious - and marketable/profitable - path of having Bret lead "Hart Dynasty" against "DX" in some form?
I think that Vince may be stubborn and short-sighted at times, but he’s not a total moron and thus DX v. Hart Dynasty is the logical and obvious path to go.
This was the first UFC card I’d ever seen live or really in full. It was a couples “playdate” and somehow our husbands convinced us that watching this event would be the only way they would agree to do this. I really don’t believe women are as smart as we think we are albeit still much smarter than most men think we are. Anyway I became a fan after this night. Not a huge fan but part of the growing nation.

The SmarK DVD Rant for Quantum of Solace (Blu-Ray)
So yes, thanks to the wonder of Ebay, I have finally gone over to the Blu Ray camp, because the studios are apparently more willing to send Blu review copies than regular DVD ones.
And what better place to begin my collection than with the latest James Bond movie?
Holy mother of god.
Finally they have actually released a DVD set that is PERFECT. This is EXACTLY the set I would have put together had I been asked to compile a 3-disc set, and it's got everything I would be wanting -- famous matches, rarities, historic moments -- covering the spectrum of the show from start to finish. I am so gonna be all over this one when it comes out.
WWE has released the complete DVD listing for the upcoming Saturday Night's Main Event DVD:
The phrase "Saturday Night's Main Event" means the biggest WWE Superstars of the '80s and '90s fighting memorable battles along with humourous and unique vignettes! For the first time ever, the greatest matches in its decades-long history come to DVD with The Best of Saturday Night's Main Event. This 3-disc set includes more than 30 matches, as well as interviews and Superstar recollections of what the event meant to them.
