Every time I think of Jerry Lawler, I think of his awesome, awesome pile driver. Which then in point makes me remember how unbelievably disappointed I was when I finally got to see Terry Funk’s legendary pile driver on Ric Flair through the table.
I thought I was going to see Terry Funk leap 30ft in the hair and bring Flair’s head crashing to the concrete.
Instead, I saw what was perhaps the WEAKEST pile driver in history. Plus, it wasn’t through the table, the table just freaking tipped backwards. God, how could ANYONE think Flair was hurt after that?
Anyways, TNA always seemed to want to push Joe, but now with Hogan in charge, no way. Joe doesn’t have “the look”. We all know how hooked Hogan is on anabolic Warriors.
Only 1 response? This is a great little post. I was a little wary about his “pro-everything WWE” stance at first, but I actually watched the show, and whereas I haven’t liked hardly anything I’ve seen out of WWE in years, he was pretty much spot on with what a great RAW that was. Good stuff. And yeah, it proves why WWE is so much superior to TNA, etc.
couldn’t agree more on Joe. that guy rightfully should be as big of a star as CM Punk right now. and TNA are obviously idiots for kicking his legs out of his legs.
