Grappling with bad puns

Hey, Scott, long time, first time. Somebody sent me this press release and I figured I should pass it on: http://www.quinnipiac.edu/x1296.xml?ReleaseID=1433
The headline: "McMahon Wrestles To The Top In GOP Senate Race, Quinnipiac University Connecticut Poll Finds; Blumenthal Hammers Her 2-1"
I don't know much about this poll, but I do know this about the race: The wrestling headline puns are going to be unbearable.

I’m just glad we live in a society where political power is still based on worth and voter trust, and not how much money you have to start with.

What?  Oh, crap.

  1. whitefish says:

Linda effectively lost the race when Chris Dodd pulled out, and the very popular Attorney General Richard Blumenthal enetered the race. It’s an uphill battle, so I doubt she will pull it out.

    that headline was punishment.

Not sure how to react to this one…do I laugh uncontrollably or do I…laugh uncontrollably. The WWE is a liability for Linda’s Senate run. Athough, most people NOT named McMahon probably already saw this one coming.
