The Guerreros were never on top. Tag team wrestling wasn't highlighted at the time though, but I can say that if they were running shows with them on top, it wouldnt of drawn. Nobody hates the Guerraros, they were fun to watch. But they definately should not have made it this far into this tournament, especially over more legendary teams like the Brainbusters, Rockers, Rock and Roll Express, Demolition, etc. Heck, even other short-lived teams like the Megapowers, Kane/Taker, Rock and Sock, should have made it further than them. They were an awesome team who rarely had a bad match. It seems the general consensus is that Guerreros shouldn't have gotten this far because of current low midcarder Chavo, but with that same logic then Hart Foundation shouldn't have gotten this far because Anvil turned into a worthless jobber after HF split.
