Um, the Guerreros whole gimmick was lying, cheating, and stealing their way to victory. Only your imagination limits how they might beat any other team that way.

Is there any point in talking about realistic scenarios in professional wrestling?

I talking as both a mark, but I also about their popularity. Can you give me scenarios where the Guerraros could realistically beat the other teams?

What's your rationale for saying that? Are you saying that from a mark perspective? Or if they would fight in a real fight? Or some kind of dice rolling wrestling scenario?

They might have had the better matches, but you know if they faced off against any of those teams I mentioned, they would have lost. You mean to tell me that Chavo would have had a realistic chance against Taker, Kane, Hogan, Savage, Mankind, or Rock? Eddie might put up a fight against them, but even he would've lost to any of them.

But the Harts were running the B Shows in the 80s against the Bulldogs on top and drawing.

The Guerreros were never on top. Tag team wrestling wasn't highlighted at the time though, but I can say that if they were running shows with them on top, it wouldnt of drawn.

That's a silly thing to say. Megapowers, Kane/Taker, Rock and Sock never had one good match as a team. At least with the Guerreros, they had a wicked series of matches with Edge/Rey, Angle/Benoit and WGTT.

Actually, a better comparison would be if HHH dumped Shawn Michaels and reformed DX with Chris Masters. Nobody hates the Guerraros, they were fun to watch. But they definately should not have made it this far into this tournament, especially over more legendary teams like the Brainbusters, Rockers, Rock and Roll Express, Demolition, etc. Heck, even other short-lived teams like the Megapowers, Kane/Taker, Rock and Sock, should have made it further than them.

I don't get the Guerreros dislike. They were an awesome team who rarely had a bad match. It seems the general consensus is that Guerreros shouldn't have gotten this far because of current low midcarder Chavo, but with that same logic then Hart Foundation shouldn't have gotten this far because Anvil turned into a worthless jobber after HF split.
