Just for fun…

Since the E&C win seems to have stirred up some controversy (and by the way, there’s no controversy – vote totals on both polls were nearly exactly the same and were consistent through the day, sorry), let’s run an alternate universe poll and see what would have happened if the Steiners had advanced to the finals against the Harts and see if it would have made a difference…

Harts v. E/C or Harts v. Steieners, I’m voting for the Harts either way.

    JUSTICE~!

If this was the real finals, I would have no problem picking Steiners as the best team ever.

    Steiners.

Reason being is because anyone who has seen that Steiners vs Bret and Owen match knows the Steiners held their own against the two Hart brothers. Now take away Owen and put Anvil in there.

Steiners over the Hart Foundation. And in this whole thing I think years should had been placed next to the teams. Therefore Steiners (1991 IMO at their peak) over the Hart Foundation (1990).

I’m thinking everybody voted with that in mind. I’m pretty sure it wasn’t the Steiners TNA incarnation.

Personally, i’m voting for the Steiners. I think the Harts were awesome and have voted them pretty much all the way; but some folks are being skewed a bit with Brett’s post-Hart Foundation career.

  5. Maybe if we do a singles tourney, we can do years as well–That way, we could imagine Shawn Michaels 1996 Vs. Shawn Michaels 2008 or something.

    Fuck all ya’all.

This whole tournament was invalidated by not having the greatest tag team EVER in it: Dennis Rodman and Hulk Hogan.

I boycott the whole thing, and Scott, you’re off my Christmas Card list.

    Racist.

Pfft. Hogan/Rodman, nothing. It’s all about Leno/DDP, bitches.

That said, I also would’ve voted Harts, either way.

    The inevitable singles final?
Would that be Bret against Shawn? Shawn against Flair? Hart against Flair? Some combo with Hogan?
I think the final eight would be mostly predictable, but until then, it could be fun.
