AMW didn't come out to James Storm and Chris Harris when first billed, they came out as "AMW"

Plus they were projects of Jarrett, hardly makes them organic.

Also there were 2 versions of LAX before it caught on.

Storm/Roode were two upper mid carders with no direction in 08. They were put together right after Victory Road cuz they couldnt push neither to the main event.

I think you have to vote for the Harts and Owen/Bulldog to set up that dream match.

We had Bret/Bulldog v. Owen/Neidhart in '94, and it was pretty awesome. Could you images the Harts at their peak v. Owen/Bulldog at THEIR peek? I think I just came a little.

I barely follow TNA myself but weren't America's Most Wanted an organic team that got over in TNA? I'm assuming by organic, you mean home-grown which is why I'm not mentioning LAX since I believe they came from ROH, although I could be wrong.

"It was a handshake type of situation. I believe in handshakes."

So Bret forgot to shake his hand in Montreal then? ;)

I'm guessing Money Inc. beats the Blondes when Pillman takes the money and announces that he respects the "bookerman," leaving Austin in a 2-on-1 predicament.

Gotta pull for the Ultimate Hart Foundation match pitting Bret and Anvil vs. Owen and Bulldog, and Beer Money vs. Kane and Taker? Dead men walking!

Yup, Sports Illustrated.

Speaking of Macho -- I read another article:

The Post and Courier (Charleston, SC)
July 9, 1995 McMahon fires verbal volley at WCW

Here is an interesting quote relating to Savage:

"I was very hurt with Randy," said McMahon. "Randy and I have been friends. Still are. Estranged friends. I was hurt by that. I thought it was a bad business decision on Randy's part and I think time has proven that to be true. It's hurt me personally. It was a handshake type of situation. I believe in handshakes. I upheld my end of the deal in a handshake and I don't think Randy did and it bothered me, not just from a business perspective."

"Career-wise he's (Savage) jumped off a ledge. Whatever happened to Randy Savage, the Macho Man? Now again, I understand was getting up there in years when he was here, but we protected him. Just as we were going to protect Hulk Hogan. You don't send him out there to the arenas every night. First of all, physically they're not capable of doing that. But beyond that you have to be very selective and judicial in use of stars that become superstars, because otherwise they burn out very quickly."
