Nah, I’m pretty far under the radar of the WWE legal department. Most of the people in WWE I have contact with are generally involved in the creative or technical sides of things. The only time I was seriously contacted by Legal was the whole silly thing with the Stalker angle where I posted the altered audio that showed it was Vince McMahon doing the voice. WWF Legal sent me a “nastygram” where they threatened to shut down Rantsylvania because I was using trademarked names in the rants. I took down the audio file, sent them an apology, and I never heard from them again.
The publisher’s legal department also jumps through a LOT of hoops to make sure everything is cleared before publication as well. I’ll post the list of changes they wanted sometime, it’s pretty weird.
