Yeah I was always kind of bummed out that Mr. Perfect didn't get a world title run in this particular era of his WWF run. It seems like it would have been a good time (No Hogan). They could have had him win it as a babyface and then turn on Hart to set up the rematch.

I don't know. Maybe they had something big planned for Mr. Perfect, but I think his back problems at the time didn't help him. If he was healthy, I think Mr. Perfect would have being a great choice to take the World Title away from Bret Hart at Survivor Series 1994, althought Bob Backlund did a great job.

Does anyone know if Mr. Perfect was considered for a main event run in 1993? When he beat Flair on this Raw I started to consider him as world title material (in my 10 year old mind), plus he tagged with Savage at the end of 1992. I know this was done suddenly because of Warrior's exit but I wonder if they considered taking him further.

I'll always have love for this period of RAW, but I keep forgetting just how bizarre this era was. Here you have a new, grittier, primetime environment featuring quality match-ups with established individuals like Flair vs. Perfect...before shilling comedy cartoon battles like Typhoon vs. Doink for the following week. Who exactly were they catering to back then?

The Ric Flair vs Mr. Perfect match should have been on the Mr. Perfect DVD. Also from the last thread, I finally got a hold of Great American Bash 89 for twenty bucks on Half.com. CAN'T wait to get it. Yeah!!!!
