Don’t panic!

I'm just playing around with the theme and look of the site a little bit to see if I can improve functionality of stuff like the blogroll and categories.  If you hate it, it can easily be changed back.

By the way, now might be a good time to also clarify something that newcomers seem confused by -- before you can comment freely, I have to approve your first one.  That helps to prevent trolls and spammers.  I've been noticing a lot of multiple posts in the moderation queue where people are saying "My first one didn't get through, so here's another try" or similar.  That's why.

I think it looks good, but I like the reply feature of the other layout. Also, it seems like nowadays every blog has this theme.

Meh, I am sure I will get used to it.

The only complaint so far is not being able to reply to somebody else’s comment.

I actually have a pair of plugins installed for the threaded comments and quoting, but they must not work with this theme. I’ll look into it.

It’s not about us, Sandmonkey. From my experience, Scott isn’t a huge fan of us being able to interact directly on his blogs.
Lets not lose sight of the point – our comments should be in relation to not what each one of us has to say, but what the Blogmaster has to say. Come on now.

This is much better Scott as i’m sure that the “reply” feature will be corrected.

    5 Stars!

Don’t we have anything more relevant going on in our lives than the layout of Scott’s blog??…..Just kidding…of course we don’t:)
    Looks good to me.

  12. I love the new layout but I’m not seeing any red at the top of the screen–it looks pink to me. I suppose I either need my eyes checked or the contrast on my monitor adjusted.
