Saturday, September 8th, 2007Finally, a worthwhile new specialty channel in Canada: Teletoon Retro. Whereas the original Teletoon has lately become the dumping ground for all things Adult Swim (which is pretty cool in itself, albeit shown a few years out of date), they’re launching a companion channel in October dedicated to basically reliving my Saturday mornings from the 70s and 80s.

SuperFriends, Bugs Bunny and fucking ROCKET ROBIN HOOD? Bad ass, dude. I’m so hoping that Sasktel picks this one up, because I’m all over it if so. All we need here is the Smurfs and a bowl of cereal and it’s the 80s all over again.
