Oh, tremendous

–WWE will come out with a new DX DVD in February featuring all new material. Among the stuff on the DVD will be: All the build-up to the reuniting, DX vs. Spirit Squad from Vengeance, DX impersonates the McMahons, DX banned from Raw, Vince & Shane vs. Eugene from Raw, DX vs. Spirit Squad from Saturday Night’s Main Event, Michaels vs. Shane McMahon from Raw, Michaels vs. Jonathan Coachman from Raw, Michaels vs. Umaga, HHH vs. Umaga, SummerSlam promo, DX vs. McMahons at SummerSlam, DX vs. Regal & Finlay & Kennedy, DX confrontation with McMahons & Big Show, DX vs. Big show, HHH vs. Vince, DX vs. McMahons & Show Hell in a Cell, DX promo on McMahons, DX takes over Raw, DX vs. Cade & Murdoch, Edge & Orton impersonate DX, HHH vs. Orton form Raw, DX vs. Edge & Orton from Cyber Sunday, DX humiliates Bischoff, and DX & Hardys & C.M. Punk vs. Edge & Orton & Nitro & Helms & Knox from Survivor Series.

Yeah, that’s just what the world was waiting for — a three-disc set of stuff we just watched in the previous year.  Reserve my copy now!  I know they enjoy milking the DVD market, but this seems like overkill and a waste of a perfectly good release to me.

the best thing i saw was the recent ecw ppv on dvd for $26.99 the same price as the other new wwe wrestling dvds. with everyone knowing that was the worst ppv in the history of wrestling who would pay that price for it? seriously?

Now a HART FOUNDATION DVD, that’d be killer.

The new ECW DVD is going to have an entire disc of stuff from the new ECW as well. So it looks like this is the route they’re going.

If you’re looking for cheap DVD’s, my local Wal-Mart (so, I’d assume, all of them) has a sale going with a bunch of WWE DVD’s for $3.88. They’ve got some crappy pay per views but also a few compilations that are worth the buy including the RVD, Benoit, and Road Warriors DVD’s.

Yeah, the Super Walmart a little bit away from us has that going on as well. Along with the crap, they do have a couple of freaking awesome ppv’s though (Backlash 04 & Rumble 04).
A Hart Foundation dvd would rock the cat box. I saw that in one of the new WWE mags, they had a top ten requested dvds. WELLL-ELLL, if I had my druthers, this is what the next ten would be:
Randy Savage, Ricky Steamboat, best of the cruiserweight division, Davey Boy Smith, Bret vol. 2, Four Horsemen, Ultimate Austin, The Ironman Match, best of Nitro, Ultimate Rock, and most importantly, a 3 disc tribute to the man who equaled buyrates, the man who equaled deriaires in the seats, and the man who equaled rock n’ roll more than any other suprerstar in recent history. Of course, I’m referring to the woman’s pet & the man’s regret, the man with the voice, the Jericholic’s choice, the ayatollah of rock n’ roll-a, the man who was bigger than life, the man of 1004 holds, and the first Undisputed champion in the history of wrestling, none other than Chris Jericho!
Did I miss any nicknames?

I am pretty sure the 4 Horsemen and Austin DVD sets are on the way this year.

When Jericho comes back eventually I bet we get the box set of him we all long for.

This new 3 disc set of DX crap is absolute garbage. All the matches are the same thing - Hunter and / or Shawn beating 5 to 10 glorified jobbers at the same time. The skits are tame versions of the stuff they did 10 years ago when they were cool. Maybe 10 years from now when they are doing their next DX reunion this 3 disc set might be a good idea, but not now.

Raw is Jericho and Monday Night Jericho always cracked me up.

Man, a Jericho DVD would rule hard. I’d rather see that and a Rocky DVD over the Hart Foundation DVD.

Jericho did more to elevate Cena than anyone else. Also, just thinking of the promo’s between Chris and Rock during their feud over the World Title (wcw) sends shivers up my spine.
