Even though you're banned, I'm sure you'll read this anyway.
I don't go to a community college.
I got into NYU but I didn't want to shell out 40 grand a year, so I go to Brooklyn College.
Also, I've been on the Dean's List for a while now and will probably graduate with honors.
Bottom line - I can probably write circles around your ass.

I never got into AD despite telling myself, on an almost weekly basis, that I would start watching. Then it was cancelled. Probably because people like me kept forgetting to turn it on.

On a somewhat related note, I like the fact that Sports Night is getting talked about here. I don't know if it is really fair to classify it with AD or Scrubs though. Sports Night was awesome but it was never written purely for laughs. It was really more like a half hour drama with some funny stuff in it. THAT's why Sports Night failed. Because everyone is trained to think that half hour shows are comedies and when they turned on Sports Night they saw a show with a lot of dramatic things happening and asked themselves "why is this funny?"

Jawas I think that G4 has some sort of relationship with Fox since they're already playing 'Fastlane' (Yeah, as if THAT show was unfairly cancelled). And they play The Man Show on there too.

And I think G4 doesn't want to be called the video game channel, as far as I know in cable it's really bad to have your network be seen as esoteric, which is why you get nonsensical stuff like Lifetime plays Goodfellas, Comedy Central playing robot fights, Court TV playing movies, etc...

I wonder if The Golf Channel even just plays golf anymore.

Sports Night rocked but I think the name itself kept a lot of potential viewers away.

I'm not sure this is going under the comment I'm responding to, but AD on G4? The video game channel? That's weird that WWECW on SciFi. I have all the DVDs, but would love to watch an episode or two a day like Seinfeld and Family Guy. I rented the British Office DVD, and much prefer the American version. The Dwight character is a huge improvement in the American one. The British guy just looks sickly.

Wow buddy, that message didn't come across for me at all when I read his post; sounded more like a comment on how it is no surprise that viewers accustomed to watching more cut-and-dried programming might feel out of the loop with the style of humour this show brought to the table.

By the way, aren't you the minute-taker when that crowd holds its meetings?

Thank you, troll again!

I'd prefer it to continue on while getting less and less funny as all comedies seem to do. I appreciated the jokes but loved the characters more.

When I found out today that not only "Scrubs" is syndicating on Comedy Central, but also that "AD" is going to be on G4, I nearly did a backflip in excitement. My two favorite sitcoms in the last five years next to "The Office" (BTW, I never had the patience for Gervais' version and find Carrell's the superior one for some reason). I also agree with the theory that "Scrubs" has had a more profound impact as a sitcom than "AD," only because it came more than three years earlier using basically the same episode concept. "AD" is still brilliant stuff; I just rented Season 3 at Blockbuster, and I haven't stopped laughing since.
